| We’re David and Briony from Letchworth in Hertfordshire and we’re joint directors and co-founders of Evolution Health & Fitness. After having already run successful personal training companies individually, we both saw a huge gap in the market for a mobile personal training service. So in early 2006 Evolution Health & Fitness was born!
Since 2006 the number of clients and prospective clients had grown to such an extent that when we had a baby in early 2009 we decided to expand the team in order to keep up with the demand. Our company has continued to deliver such high standards of service that in 2010 and then again in 2011 we were in a position where we required even more trainers. All of our trainers/therapists are self employed and have been fully vetted by us and work as approved freelance Evolution Personal Trainers/Therapists. They all hold their own first aid qualifications and public liability insurance.
David
I am the head trainer at Evolution Health & Fitness. I became an Advanced Personal Trainer in 2001 after studying with Premier Training, a leading educational body in the fitness and Personal Training industry. I am also a qualified Sports Therapist which enables me to carry out injury rehabilitation.
Briony
In 2002 I became a Personal Trainer after having previously worked as a Studio Instructor. I have studied with a number of educational bodies to include; YMCA, Pilates Institute and Premier Training. I am now a mum and I know how hard it is to juggle family life while keeping fit & healthy but it can be done.
Jen
I have been a Personal Trainer since 2007. I studied with Premier Training and I am also a qualified Sports Therapist which enables me to carry out injury rehabilitation and Sports Massage Therapy. I always strive to better my knowledge and in 2010 I qualified as a specialist instructor in exercise for the Management of Lower Back Pain.
Fiona-Mary
I qualified as an advanced Personal Trainer with Premier Training International. I am an enthusiastic, energetic and highly motivated individual hence me running the London Marathon in 2005. I can show my clients how to stay fit and healthy while still running a busy home/work schedule.
Matt
I graduated from university in 2008 with a BSc honours degree in Sport & Exercise Science and then went on to complete my Personal Training qualification. I have furthered my knowledge and education through several other courses to include; exercise to music, circuits, Kettlebells, boxer blast, vipr and nutrition. These enable me to bring a broad range of diversity and excellence to my training sessions.
Natalie
In 2010 I became a Sports Therapist having graduated with a BSc Hons Sports Therapy degree. My knowledge and understanding allows me to treat a variety of complaints; as well as providing massage and injury rehabilitation. Sports therapy is my passion but I am also a fully qualified Personal Trainer. Often clients have certain fitness/weight loss goals but their injuries inhibit their progress. This is where I can really help as I am in a position where I can provide tailored programmes to suit their injury rehabilitation as well as any other goals that they may have.
Michelle
I qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2008 after years of working in the city as a Business Analyst and then having had 5 years out to focus on my 2 sons. I truly am passionate about fitness and that’s why I invest time and energy developing my skills year on year. I have recently completed free style Yoga and have started my UK Strength and Conditioning qualification. Being fit is so important to me and I love showing clients how to reach their full potential. It also helps my own energy levels when keeping up with my children!!!
Working as a team we are able to offer Personal Training Sessions 7 days a week, starting from as early as 5.30am and as late as 9pm.
